Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Looks great. How much maintenance do these WPC decking boards actually require?

They require almost no maintenance. If they get dirty, a water hose and possibly a brush are enough to clean them. Great material, we used it for the entire terrace.

Is WPC wood or plastic?

Yes, but there doesn’t need to be a huge dark stain on the facade just because they were too lazy to cut 3m (10 feet) further away.
I would ask the manager of the lazy dirty workers to present a plan on how they intend to fix the damage.

The only thing you need to watch out for is to use solid planks because of the frost.

The only thing to consider is that they are hollow; otherwise, they become so hot in the summer that you cannot walk on them.

A slope helps to prevent frost damage.

....a bit of everything......

So how does that work here in terms of durability?

I really like wooden decking for the terrace surface, but because of the limited durability, it will probably be porcelain stoneware or something similar after all. Did I forget to consider WPC decking? I'm hearing about that for the first time today.
