YouTube is full of reports from people who realized it far too late; there are naive individuals who send their entire savings abroad. Emotional manipulation is a big part of it. Especially divorced, older women and men are currently targeted by organized scam groups. But this is slowly getting off-topic, anyone interested can easily look it up themselves.
