In this region, even semi-detached houses with a width of 5.50 meters (18 feet) are offered and sell like hotcakes.
We are happy with it, and with a living area of about 140 square meters (1,507 square feet), it is more than enough for two children.

As @goalkeeper says, it is a terraced house. That’s not a 21st-century invention. And with about 6.5 meters (21 feet) in width, it’s certainly not unusual. I also grew up in a similar terraced house (though overall larger but just as narrow) and survived...That’s why the *neutral* was in bold.
I didn’t know that it’s called a terraced house or maybe I just haven’t noticed it yet.
