Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Ours, at 6.84 meters (22.5 feet) wide, is still considered one of the larger ones.

In this region, even semi-detached houses with a width of 5.50 meters (18 feet) are offered and sell like hotcakes.

We are happy with it, and with a living area of about 140 square meters (1,507 square feet), it is more than enough for two children.

Where do you live then?

As @goalkeeper says, it is a terraced house. That’s not a 21st-century invention. And with about 6.5 meters (21 feet) in width, it’s certainly not unusual. I also grew up in a similar terraced house (though overall larger but just as narrow) and survived...

That’s why the *neutral* was in bold.

I didn’t know that it’s called a terraced house or maybe I just haven’t noticed it yet.

What do you mean by that?

Where our house is being built? In the northern part of Baden-Württemberg.

It’s always awkward when you have to explain a joke; that means it wasn’t very good.

Then I'll add another one in case yours didn't arrive: At least not in the basement.
