There are large glass surfaces without curtains or blinds. The entire ceiling area is flush-covered with the Ligno Trend elements.
Most visitors simply find the ceiling attractive and are unaware of its function – acoustically, they don't notice anything missing. There are no noticeable issues like reverberation, echo, tonal distortion, or the oppressive feel of overly dampened rooms. I work a lot with musicians. They immediately notice the absence of typical acoustic room characteristics and ask about it.
You’re welcome to come by sometime.

Really cool, I like it a lot! If I didn’t have a staircase underneath, I would have gone for something like that too. But since our basement is downstairs and we didn’t want it open, unfortunately, that wasn’t possible... But I’m very curious to see the final result here!
Over the weekend, we were at the 80th birthday of my husband’s uncle in the Vogtland region and rented a very nice log cabin for three days – with a stove.
And my dear husband, who had been complaining about the “unnecessary!” stove that I wanted so much, took every possible opportunity to light the stove in the cabin’s living room because (quote from my dear husband) “it’s so cozy.”
Ha! HHHAAAAAAA! Now he realizes! *grrr*
If I had known this, I would have taken him there during the planning phase – now the stove topic is settled for us *sob*
