Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Oh dear, who plans something like this, or could there be other reasons?

Guys, calm down a bit. The damage is already done, and it’s not nice to criticize the kitchen now when people can’t change anything anymore. Often it’s like this: if you don’t know about a "mistake," it doesn’t bother you. But as soon as someone points it out, it suddenly becomes a problem. So....

Coming up short
Why did the mistake happen?

Is it because the airflow reaches the feet?
For aesthetic reasons, we chose the outlet there.
Let’s see if it actually causes any problems.

Trust me, my house has more than enough flaws, but you might still be able to negotiate a discount or something similar. You don’t have to accept everything...

But now I’m curious myself... where exactly is the mistake?
I also wrote to my kitchen planner 3 days ago that the two openings for the recirculated air should be placed on the left and right (inside) of the island!

I don’t want to be blown on at the dining table while cooking, nor do I want to see the vents from the living area.

@blaupuma: I think your kitchen is perfectly fine, and even better if you have a pantry. I believe you showed a sketch a few months ago, so the forum shouldn’t be unfamiliar with your kitchen layout. You would think so.

EDIT: Why didn’t you integrate the stove into the countertop?

Yes, someone wanted to know the size one page earlier. I thought the sketch would be the easiest way to show it.
