You have a really great view of the field with a slope... I envy you Yes, the view and the landscape are very beautiful. Due to work, we have been living here for a little over 17 years now and feel completely comfortable. That is also why we decided to build a house here now, to stay.
Best regards

Dear friends of housebuilding,
After the topping-out ceremony on Monday and the masons filling the spaces between the roof beams yesterday while the carpenter installed the boards on the roof overhang, the roofers arrived today.
Best regards
Axel

Admit it, you must have bribed the tradesmen or threatened them somehow. No project moves this fast anywhere else.
And yes, I love hipped roofs (alongside slab foundations). A matter of taste.
Hello Katja,
Offering bribes is, of course, completely out of the question for me. I’m simply on the construction site every day, always polite, and if something doesn’t go as planned, I politely point out the issue. After all, we all make more or less many mistakes.
I have the mobile numbers of both my architect and site manager. If anything comes up, we resolve it quickly and they take care of it. The managing director of the company we hired still answers the phone personally, and if he’s not available, he calls me back very quickly.
It would certainly be wonderful if everything ran this smoothly everywhere.
Best regards
Axel
PS: Once the extension finally starts, there will be a foundation slab to show again.

I don’t want to brag, but actually, I kind of do.
Excavation work at our site started in mid-March, and the roof on our two-story house with a basement was fully covered by early May, right on time for the roofing work, despite the Easter holidays and snowfall.
What really takes time and is incredibly slow is, unfortunately, the interior finishing... :-(
By the way, there are no photos, my partner wouldn’t agree to that.
