May I ask how wide the recess for the large shower is? And will there be glass or something similar installed at the top, or will the "gap" remain open?

The niche is 99cm (39 inches) wide. The top remains open to allow at least some air circulation.

Finally, the scaffolding has been removed and the exterior plaster is complete.

Update on the outdoor area...

Today I washed 2 tons of Baltic Sea pebbles and placed them along the eaves edge.

Uh.. yeah, nice... but why all the effort with the brick facade and not extending the paving right up to the house?

This is the common practice here. Beneath the gravel is a perimeter drainage system. It is not covered with paving.
