The bathroom for the adults is now almost finished. The mirror still needs to be installed, the basin skirt is missing at the washbasin, and the fittings still need to be mounted.

I like it with the floor and anthracite combined with cream. Maybe a bit too big for me.
What is next to the toilet on the right in the photo?
Good idea with the built-in closet... in theory, we also have the option but didn’t use it because it didn’t occur to us... maybe it can be added later?! But so far, we have managed without it, as our small laundry/utility room is right next to it.

The bathroom seems too large to me as well.

Why are the walls around the toilet tiled, and why so high? What are you planning to do in that corner?

I imagine the decision-making process went something like this:
Man: In the house, I won’t be sitting down anymore, I’ll be standing to pee, just so it’s clear!
Woman: Okay, but then you clean the toilet and everything around it!
Man, after a week of trying this out in the old apartment at the hairdresser:
Alright, so tile the walls and toilet that high then...

If you follow this through consistently, you can just clean everything easily with a pressure washer.
