Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

After the house handover, it’s time to prepare for the move, which means a lot of work for us.

Paving work and pathways are finished. Our old apartment is filling up with moving boxes. On Monday, 11.9., the moving truck will arrive. The moving company is handling everything, I don’t feel like carrying heavy loads. We still need to water the plants a bit this autumn, and the landscaping contractor will sow the lawn. He’s also giving us a flagpole as a belated birthday gift, which will go in the countryside behind the terrace or in front of the house. Both options look nice. I haven’t decided yet.
This Tuesday, Ikea finally wants to complete the kitchen installation. Fingers crossed it works out.
At the first appointment on Monday, only one person showed up. He tried his best but managed to finish only half of the work.

The brick plinth looks quite unusual, like it’s from a different era than the house itself. How much will it be hidden by the landscaping?
