Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

To me, it would be a bit too dark – but it might look completely different once there is greenery around it.

The plasterers will finish their work today, and on Monday the screed installer will start installing the insulation. The plan is to apply the screed on Friday of next week.

@opalau could you please post more pictures of the "stairwell"? I also want a half-turn landing concrete staircase. However, I usually plan it to be open to the "lower" side of the room because I’m worried it might otherwise become a narrow, dark space. That’s why example pictures would be very helpful to me.

Certainly, @j.bautsch. I’ve attached photos from different construction phases for you. The bottom two steps are open on one side, and the step width is 1.10m (3 ft 7 in). Together with the large windows, I find it very pleasant.

Thank you very much, also for the measurements, that really helps me a lot. It doesn’t actually look that "holey." Maybe this will open up other floor plan possibilities for us.
