Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

The insulation has been installed on the outside and it has been primed. Since the scaffolding has already been removed from two sides, the house is starting to look more like a finished home, and it’s becoming easier to imagine the final result:

Here is also the front view from the street:

Wow, we have so much wood left over that we no longer need... We can still use all of it to convert our van into a camper. The neighbor’s grandfather has also shown interest (you could still build a great garden shed from it). Let me know, and I’ll give it to you. He has already taken the leftover rebar for some kind of fence.

How many square meters was that again?
It looks really cute, I really like it (except for the columns, I’m not a big fan of those, but since I plan to use brick cladding anyway, they could be built square instead).

123 square meters (approximately 1329 square feet) of living space. Ah yes, the columns... We don’t mind them much. They’re not exactly appealing, but well, something has to support the small porch roof. They didn’t bother us enough to consider alternatives.

The scaffolding is gone! And inside, the plasterers are doing good work (in our opinion).
