Nice progress, even though I find brick cladding awful. I have never been a fan of bricks. Zaba, why? You rarely hold back your opinion, and I’m slowly learning to understand and even appreciate that. But comments like these could just be avoided. Taste is subjective, after all, and it’s safe to assume that pffreestyler likes it very much; otherwise, they wouldn’t build that way. What exactly is the added value of your remark that you find it “awful”? If you don’t have anything nice to say, maybe just say nothing at all. Or be polite and simply let the “nice progress” stand on its own. No hard feelings.

@Nordlys No, several companies from the village or neighboring villages. By the way, my girlfriend has been raving about your table for weeks. It will probably be in our house soon too...
@MadameP All good, I understand the comment and don’t hold it against him. I know he doesn’t mean any harm.

I don’t think it’s okay either... You can say, “It’s not my taste,” just like I often think or rarely say about most of those typical "Bauhaus style" houses. If I don’t like something, I prefer to say nothing here because these are photos showing “I’m happy that it’s turning out the way I like.” There’s no need to throw in words like "hideous."

Mottenhausen11 Mar 2019 15:01a bit flooded?
Today, the excavator arrived here. Despite the rain, it seems that all drainage is working underground. The fresh foundation pit is not a muddy pond yet.
