Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

After May 2015:

What kind of concrete beds are these?
Are they installed on a foundation?

Concrete loft bed – brilliant! Did you cast the beams yourself?

Oh yes.... The work of some very expensive service providers would be interesting. In some cases, it's really outrageous that some spend up to 100,000 euros for the landscaping.

Let the builder first make the house weather-tight, then we can watch the gardener over their shoulder.

I also don’t see why gardens should only be shown together with the houses.

The houses are usually the first thing to flourish.

Since the garden is often one of the last things to be addressed in a new build, there is frequently a risk that other items have already consumed part or all of the budget.

On the other hand, I also find it unrealistic to expect the entire outdoor area to look like something straight out of a landscaping magazine immediately after the house is completed. For many, it might be possible to spend several tens of thousands of euros more and install turf, but that won't be an option for us.

Once all the invoices are paid, we will see how well the plans worked out. Then, investment will likely go into paving, and everything else around it will gradually take shape over the next few years—done by ourselves without a landscape architect.

In my opinion, turf is actually a poor example. Assuming the weather conditions are suitable, after a month or two, you can no longer see the difference compared to grass grown from seed...
