Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

That's why hopefully the ventilation will be connected soon, so the windows can stay closed...

If you want to have them cleaned before moving in... at least put filters onto the vents (nylon stocking) so construction dust doesn’t get inside.

... and I immediately find something to criticize again: I don’t like the "contrast" between, on one hand, the color areas that are (in my opinion) well executed but don’t go all the way to the corner, and on the other hand, the furniture placed with a recessed base. In my view, the furniture could stand a bit more "freely" instead of being so "fitted in."

We would have liked a bit more space as well. I really liked the wall unit. I was already glad that there was a smaller version that fit in there. The good thing is that, on the left, the furniture hangs aligned with the color edge.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t position the fireplace differently. But there’s always something.

Today, our underfloor heating was installed.
I noticed a large gap in the upper hallway.
I’m not sure if this is correct.
Personally, I don’t think it is, or am I wrong?

Spiraled heating pipes of an underfloor heating system lying on the floor of an empty room.

Room with installed heating circuit piping system for underfloor heating, still under construction.

Installed underfloor heating pipes during construction phase, serpentine pattern on the floor.

Dark construction corridor with many cables laid flat on the floor.

What catches my eye more is the uneven window arrangement (standard window and narrow slit window, practically in the same corner) in picture 2. Where the heating loops apparently "are missing" in the hallway, you would likely only trip over a sleeping cat anyway. A draft won’t be forming there.
