Good morning everyone,
Even though this is not a photo of a finished house yet.
Can someone give me an estimate of when I can expect asphalt to be laid here and how long such work usually takes? It looks like it is at least prepared for it in my opinion. What do you think? You probably have experience with this.

Either tomorrow or in 3 years...there are no previous experiences for that.
For us, work usually starts only after 90% of the development is completed.Okay, then I wasn’t precise enough.
Let’s assume that construction can start once the road has been paved and sealed!
By the way, tomorrow is Sunday ;-p
At our site, the asphalt was laid before construction started, but it is only the temporary construction road. It will be milled off once all the neighboring properties along the road are finished, and then it will be properly resurfaced with asphalt.
So, it simply varies.

I didn’t understand what she meant either! The key to understanding this is probably quite simple: although the comment is placed after post No. 1676 about the hardwood flooring, it apparently refers to post No. 1670 about the tiles in the hallway.

I’d estimate it’s only a matter of weeks. Each municipality usually handles this consistently within its area. In places where it’s common to wait for the last construction truck and let the manhole covers stick out of the uneven surface until then, the condition in your picture would represent the moment just before the last verse of that song.

For us, it’s similar to what @Alex85 described. I get the impression that there is an initial layer of tar applied, which is then covered with an additional layer after the main construction phase in that section is completed – at least, a few centimeters are still missing around the curbstones and manhole covers. Of course, it’s also possible that they will remove it again and reapply the tar. [emoji848]
@all Wishing you a great start to the new year. Stay safe!
