Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

I’m curious to see what those “we grill all year round” enthusiasts have to offer? 😉

Two large, dark smoked beef brisket pieces on a round grill smoker in the garden.

Large round cinnamon rolls on baking paper, golden brown, lightly dusted.

Grill with red-glazed ribs on the grate, several pieces arranged.

Gas grill on a paved patio in the snow; grilling utensils hanging on the side.

Rotating meat on a spit inside an oven, gravy with chopped vegetables underneath.

Round kamado-style grill with charcoal briquettes on the lid, in the garden.

Sliced beef roast with pepper crust, pink inside, on a wooden board with juices.

Cast iron pot with brown meat stew on grill grates; meat chunks in red sauce.

Two cast iron pans on the grill; raw diced meat on the left, diced onions on the right, smoke visible.

Peppered roast, sliced, pink inside, crispy crust.

Oh, come on, stop it. I just smoked a weak joint and now I have to see something like this? 🙄

Where? Here in the Nordic flat, wet inland, we had 17°C (63°F) today. 😎

I didn’t express myself well.
I meant that we also grill throughout the year, including today (at 20°C (68°F)). But in winter, when it’s very cold, I prefer to stick to "shorties" like a steak. For longer grilling sessions, it’s just too uncomfortable.

I actually had to look up the word “Knifte” just now. 😀

I think the word must come from behind the dike...

No, people say Brügg for “behind the dike.”
