Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

We have received 1,500 tons of material in the past few days, ops:
Fortunately, it is being spread with an excavator and a wheel loader.
The soil is only to be slightly leveled for now.
Proper filling can only begin once the pool and the concrete walls are completed.
Anyway, have fun sanding!

Wow, 1500 tons is quite impressive. I really appreciate having my flat piece of land.

However, I’ve rented a wheel loader for Tuesday to roughly spread it out.

Two weeks ago, my father and I already spread about 15 tons using a wheelbarrow and shovel. It took 5 hours, and in the following days I was completely wiped out.

A mini excavator would be the right size for that amount, in my opinion.

The problem is that these piles first need to be placed behind the house. The truck was only able to unload at the front. So first, the wheel loader is needed.

I definitely won’t be sharing floor plans here; they’re perfect for us, but probably would get torn apart here because they are rather unconventional.
At least @rick2018, @hampshire, @ivenh0, @sichtbeton82, @spochtsfreund, and @matte1987—and if I forgot one or more, it was unintentional—can confirm that it’s not just houses for @Nordlys or me that can be built here.

Due to the current situation, I had the slopes graded much further apart.
