In case it’s not clear from the picture: the element is screwed onto the front of the wall. But more importantly, almost no wind reaches that spot. The wind would have to come exactly from the south or north to cause problems there. All common wind directions with “west” in the name are blocked by the house. It still won’t hold up if gusts of 80 or 90 km/h (50 or 56 mph) really hit it.
The main wind direction doesn’t mean that wind or storms from north or south can never occur. If that thing blows down the street and dents 5, 7, or 10 cars on its way, you’ll think back to these words…

In spring, we also focused on the garden and planted the missing flower beds and slopes. The children are already enjoying their garden access extensively.
The hydrangeas are starting to bloom nicely, but the growth of the grasses is still a bit slow... On the other hand, the children’s strawberries are sprouting relentlessly on the small wall. In a few weeks, we will probably be able to harvest the first fruits.

We have lived here for several years already, and until recently there were flower pots on the wall completely unsecured, yet they never fell off or even slipped once. Also, our neighbor, who has lived here for almost 60 years and whose car or house would be the only ones potentially affected, was present when we installed this and did not express any concerns. It is actually usually completely calm and windless here.
