Yes, corner placement tends to emphasize room modes. This can result in almost no bass in one spot of the room and a standing wave elsewhere that produces powerful but also uneven and boomy bass. However, if it works well for you, I don’t want to discourage you. It is definitely a good system that can provide a lot of enjoyment.
