We ran the Rothaarsteig Marathon in 2018 (so I’m familiar with Kühude too), and at the finish line my wife said she found the people very friendly and the area so beautiful that she could imagine living here. When we then found the plot of land, we were sold.
@Wickie if you drive down from Schanze, you can easily see our house—right below the big old school building.
