I just measured. Here it is 1.6 meters (5.25 feet):

And at this point, we have 1.27 meters (4.17 feet):

Thank you.
I would have bet it was only 1.5 meters (4.92 feet) and the difference to 1.27 meters (4.17 feet) is less than 33 centimeters (13 inches).
Be that as it may, I find that I personally don’t like hallways like these, especially those that aren’t well lit near doors or stairs.
I would feel trapped there.

Things are progressing really well; we are currently one week ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, the exterior plaster, or at least the base coat, is still missing. There’s always something. Either it’s raining, or there’s frost, or it’s Christmas. Supposedly, the wood fiber insulation that currently forms the building’s outer layer can withstand the weather without any problems.
Just before Christmas, the screed was installed.
Today, we fitted the remaining pipes for the ventilation system and set up the unit temporarily.
Otherwise, I’m just waiting for a sunny day when I can bring more than just my phone camera to take some proper photos of the house.
By the way, our hallway (on the ground floor, not the one in the photo) is 176 cm (69 inches) wide – but there will be quite a bit of furniture added. I can also share photos of that if you like.
