I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

You can't control weeds without chemicals.
Compo Unkraut frei.Is Compo Unkraut frei mixed with fertilizer? There are those combination products.
The weeds have thrived with water and sunlight. It would be interesting to know what was planted in the soil before. It almost looks like kohlrabi is growing.
I also water my upper area from time to time, either using rainwater from the cistern or from the mains. However, there will be no irrigation system. I know that water and fertilizer are essential for a nice lawn, but so far, I’m uncomfortable with the waste of mains water... and since this conflicts with having a healthy lawn, it’s a vicious circle.
Hello everyone,
Our project is progressing as well. Our raised bed on the terrace (it will be travertine in 60cm × 60cm (24 × 24 inches)) is now finished. The upper bed measures 8.0 × 1.5 meters (26.2 × 4.9 feet) and the lower one 8.0 × 1.0 meters (26.2 × 3.3 feet). That’s without the stones—just the planting area.
Now it’s time to start planting. Do you have any tips or recommendations for full sun to partial shade? Preferably bee- and insect-friendly and perennial. We already have a large lavender bed at the front. Maybe you have some creative secret tips. The wall should still be clearly visible. Ground spotlights will be installed on the iron pins for lighting.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

The wall should still be clearly visible. But maybe in a way that its uniformity is somewhat less pronounced. To my taste, the horizontal joints every 25cm (10 inches) are too perfectly straight.
