Phew... I thought the same. These are furniture store packages. I don’t find it particularly expensive either, pretty much average. Sure, it costs money... but if you spend a bit more time browsing online (not just while working from home), you’ll see what the market offers beyond these packages.

For some browsing beyond the usual standards – also take a look at Extremis for inspiration. The Belgians create very innovative, yet comfortable and clearly designed outdoor furniture with excellent craftsmanship. I find Hopper fantastic, but we are going to be reasonably practical this time.

Sure, some sets look similar, but collections like the Artist or Ilios really can’t be compared in design to what you find at a hardware store.

I called customer service yesterday, and they were very kind and explained everything to me.

Rattan furniture always reminds me of hardware stores anyway 😉

The price is reasonable, and according to online reviews, the quality is very good.

I spoke with customer service yesterday; they answered all my questions in detail and were genuinely friendly. They’re also honest and provide all necessary information on their website. You don’t see that very often.

Returning items via freight pickup is also no problem if you’re not satisfied.
