What do you use for the cooking liquid? I always find it difficult to get the right balance between liquid and vegetables. Often it’s too watery, or too “dry” so nothing sticks to the rice, for example.

Sauté onions and garlic in plenty of butter first, then add everything else. Cover with a lid.
