I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Now there is a foggy atmosphere again in the morning over our untidy garden. The dominant plant this year is the Himalayan balsam, which spreads extensively across almost all cleared areas. Admittedly, it has pretty flowers.

Garden path next to house, pink flowering shrubs, wooden bench and metal fence in the foreground.

Rustic garden idyll: wooden fence, seating area, blossoms, view of roof and green landscape

Golden ornamental grasses in the foreground, garden with round table and bench behind.

Two dark plums hanging on a branch with a tag, surrounded by green foliage in the garden.

Pink cosmos flowers growing on a wooden fence; a foggy field lies beyond.

Garden with wooden deck on the left, table and benches, central tree, colorful flowers, garden hose on the ground

Garden lounge with blue upholstered sunbed in front of stone wall, surrounded by plants.

Red grapes hanging on a vine with brown stems, autumn leaves in the background.

Everything fits together very well.
Is there a larger close-up of the dry stone wall? Specifically showing how the corner integrates into the garden? Thanks.

I really like your solution for the balcony/terrace. Could you please share a picture of it? Here, it can only be seen at the edge of the photo.

Thanks in advance. 🙂

What do you do with outdoor bell peppers and chili peppers? Starting tomorrow, nighttime temperatures are only expected to be 5°C (41°F) and daytime temperatures well below 20°C (68°F).
Harvest them? Cover them? Do nothing at all?

But personally, I don’t like the sweetish scent at all, so I wouldn’t be too thrilled if it took over my garden. However, in the photos, it just looks pretty.
I like the entire garden like this – we have a similar situation. No lawn and lots of wild growth ;-)
