I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Baking soda mixed with water works surprisingly well. It doesn’t completely eliminate the problem, but it reduces it significantly.
Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 1 liter (1 quart) of water and spray the plants.

Against brown rot?
I will try it if it becomes a problem again next year. This year is over.

Does this also help with rust on roses? That is a fungus as well.

Yes, and also effective against mallow rust.
With the addition of rapeseed oil, it takes care of aphids, leafhoppers, and similar pests.
Apply daily for one week.
It might not be as strong as chemical pesticides from the locked cabinet in hardware stores, but it works and is affordable.

I will give it a try!
Unfortunately, my roses are rusting too 🙁

Thanks for the tip!

and you gardeners, does anyone watch the Chelsea Flower Show videos? I have been watching Chelsea for years and hope to see it in person someday.

I watch the videos occasionally and mostly by chance. Visiting in person is certainly an experience, likely again next May. If you visit in May, make sure to take a detour to Hampshire’s New Forest and visit the Exbury Gardens there. The other way around is probably even more recommended: Visit the New Forest and then make a detour to the Chelsea Flower Show.
