I am experiencing all the side effects of the AstraZeneca vaccine from yesterday. “Feeling like on drugs” and body aches were yesterday, then chills in the evening and night, and today headaches and a runny nose. My body is probably biologically a bit younger than I thought, since it reacts so strongly :p

Then you’ll be done with it by Sunday. About the shade: It is on the west side since this is a morning photo and the sun is still in the east. Around noon or early afternoon, the shadow moves under the awning and stays there until the evening because the small wall on the west side also provides protection.
We could have chosen a larger one since there is enough space. But we decided that, because of the wind here, a large one would simply be too risky. After all, it’s only a few meters in a straight line to the beach.

We keep having snow showers. Everything quickly turns white, then slushy, and then it’s gone again.

@Nordlys: Sigh... just a few meters to the beach. Would you consider trying a bungalow on the hillside where it slopes down to the Black Forest? Beautiful views, rural surroundings, many wonderful excursion destinations nearby, sauna? We could use a change of scenery this summer... and if nothing is open or everything gets booked instantly...

It is snowing today.

Here, it is uncertain whether it will be snow or rain. I would say rain with a bit of white mixed in.
My winter cherry already bloomed last year. So far, there are no signs yet.
