I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

For example, I like the idea of a heated bath stove... then you could also have warm water running... but even old used ones are really expensive at the moment..The bath stove is already here... we were able to find one quite cheaply in our town... thanks to a wanted ad on Ebay-KA 🙂 And for a change, a few garden pictures... ah, a few rays of sunshine and temperatures in the double digits, it really draws me outside... I tidied everything up nicely and mowed the lawn for the first time. Even our patchy lawn looks really good after all the rain. The tomato plants are slowly getting going, and the first seeds are in the bed. As soon as something starts to sprout, I add mulch. I’m already excited about the strawberries... last year we had an amazing harvest. How’s it going with you all? Steffi33 schrieb:

I am currently working through item three on the seemingly 27-page outdoor to-do list ;-)
Two of the four planned planter boxes are almost finished. They will be used for privacy plants.
Currently planned are bamboo and Japanese spindle shrubs.
The boxes are handmade from bangkirai wood, measuring 150cm (59 inches) long x 45cm (18 inches) wide and about 70cm (28 inches) high.
Inside, there are suitable mortar tubs resting on battens. A trim will be added on top for aesthetics.
Why are other gardens so colorful and already completed...? I’m a bit jealous...

WilderSueden28 Apr 2023 09:40For green and colorful areas, we still need to wait a few weeks; this is all a work in progress. But at least the first steps are done. Terrain shaping took place last Saturday, yesterday I prepared and seeded the grass areas, and I also planted the slope with fruit and berry plants. The first stones for the dry stone wall are already in place. Here is a small preview. Since everything is happening simultaneously, the work area around the wall will have to remain clear for now.
