At the moment, bamboo and Japanese silverberry are planned.
The boxes are handmade and made from bankirai wood, measuring 150cm (59 inches) long, 45cm (18 inches) wide, and about 70cm (28 inches) high.
Inside, suitable mortar buckets rest on battens. A frame will be added on top for aesthetic purposes.
Why are other gardens already so colorful and complete...? I’m a bit envious...Why do you want to plant the shrubs in boxes? The roots can’t spread well there and might be damaged by frost in winter.
