Hello

How have you separated your hedges from your gardens? We are trying to figure out the best way to do this so that it looks good and is practical for mowing.

Our neighbors usually bury stones in the soil.

The question is whether we even need to do this at all, and if so, for what reasons. How have you managed this cost-effectively? We have a very large property and don’t want to spend a lot of money on it.

How many meters are we talking about? I think for about 10 to 15 meters (33 to 49 feet), you don’t necessarily need a stone edging. You can simply cut the lawn sharply with a spade to create a clear boundary between the grass and the bare soil under the hedge. If needed, a few wood chips underneath will do the job.

That's also an idea. The plot is about 50-60 meters (55-65 yards) all around.

What do you consider very large? I have about 140 m (460 feet) of boundary (4 sides). Of that, around 60 m (200 feet) is my hedge. My two neighbors have a hedge or bushes.

Yes, very large was an exaggeration... I meant large! Anyway... it was about something else anyway ^^

We do not have any boundary or partition.
