The problem is that the grass immediately produces seeds again when cut short. With the robotic lawn mower, I end up spreading them all over the garden!

Yes, strange... same here. But where was that stuff in the previous years? It’s the first time for us.
Anyway. I’m happy that our hedge is getting really thick for the first time 😎 This is my personal garden highlight so far.

We had the same problem. We cut them out in large numbers and disposed of them. Now, however, we have more of a bumpy track than a lawn. 😡

Are you sure it is annua? Many mixes contain supina and similar types... There are also golf courses that have only annua. Either overseed with lighter blends so it’s less noticeable, or dig out and overseed. I’m currently growing small patches of turf so they can be easily "swapped out."

Sand helps to level out unevenness 😉
I have already used nearly one ton on the garage. As soon as my Equda arrives, the big project in the rest of the garden will start with about 12 tons.

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same stuff 🙄 So... if I dig it out, there’s no more lawn left 😀
When you can finally sit outside again after all the rain, I just enjoy that stuff with gin.
