I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

We ordered it from ITEM. They usually build test rigs for the automotive industry or provide system solutions for workplace design, which is why my husband was familiar with them. We also had them cut the acrylic sheets to size.
It’s not cheap (especially the appropriate acrylic), and the solution for the flap didn’t work out quite as we originally wanted. However, overall it’s a sturdy solution that will probably outlast us. The unit is fairly heavy, and we initially planned to disassemble it for compact storage. We have decided not to do that, as reassembling is not that simple. Fortunately, we have space for it under our balcony next to the trailer stand. But if you don’t have room for this item, it might not be the best option.

Fummelbrett!18 May 2021 19:24So nice! Our neighbors also have such chickens. Unfortunately, their property is not very large, and the chicken enclosure is completely scratched up. So we offered that they can use the area behind our house as a run – 3 meters wide (10 feet), between our house wall and the stone wall of another neighbor. There are many grasses, dandelions, and herbs growing there – about 20 meters long (65 feet). I’m curious, I think the poultry will enjoy it. And so will I.
