That’s enough, even for plants that spread out sideways. People tend to plant way too densely when the plants are still small. Then they start growing and boom—a green explosion :-D
I really like the turf raised bed idea—I’ll have to think about where to put something like that. I still have a few to dig up here as well...

Today I’m showing you again the retaining wall made from old railway sleepers built by our young ones, which I get to maintain with great pleasure twice a year. I mostly plant donated groundcover perennials that can handle the summer heat.
Watering is very rare, yet very little gets damaged.
Instead of the wooden slat fence, a photovoltaic system will be installed on three sides (east-south-west) in July.
The green strips above the photovoltaic panels and below toward the residential street will be covered with gravel.

Spring is just starting to arrive here, and the trees and shrubs are showing their very first (!) green tips ... 🙄
