I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

The terrace is finally finished! The railing is still missing, as well as the stairs down to the front garden, but now you can step outside from every door on ground level at last!!!

We were surprised ourselves by how much space we have! ops:
Here is a direct comparison between the larch decking boards that were installed last fall (balcony) and the ones just finished now:

Thank you!
Today, the facade at the rear is being completed, and we will be adding a sliding door to the shed there (otherwise, you can always see the trash bins). After that, the only thing left at the back is for the outdoor oven to receive its finishing touches.
My partner is picking up mulch (pine mulch) today, which will then be spread on the garden beds – things are slowly coming together!
We are currently leveling the stairs from the balcony down to the front garden; hopefully, that won’t take much longer either.
Starting tomorrow, I have 1.5 weeks of vacation, and ideally, I don’t want any tradespeople buzzing around during that time. I want to truly relax and maybe take a day trip (to the mountains or a bike ride) without having to be at home dealing with one thing or another at short notice.
We’ll see if that plan works out.
