The tomatoes need to be harvested now because of the rain… so I'll go ahead and preserve some tomato sauce. The strawberries are flowering again… I'm not sure if that's a good thing… they are supposed to produce plenty again next year 🙄

I’ve thought about just presenting him with a done deal and doing it alone. So far, I have only looked into laying the sedum mats—they work like turf rolls. These systems come complete with the substrate and everything, so that should be foolproof. Did you order all the accessories for the substrate and gravel from the same supplier as well?

I find the joint mixture interesting too, because I don’t want a fully paved driveway—I want the gaps between the paving slabs to be green. My husband and the landscape gardener want to use gravel and say the weeds will come up on their own.

No, I ordered those from different suppliers. But if Sedum mats are available in your preferred colors, that is certainly a good option. Yellow mixes are not or were not offered in Sedum mats, or I might have missed those offers.

*sigh* I can’t say much more except that neither one should call it “weed” anymore, it’s not politically or environmentally correct. ;-) They are companion plants or wild herbs. ;-)

My green roof is maintenance-free, the builder said. So far, after 4 years, I haven’t done anything to it.
I bought from the developer, and the green roof was mandatory. Neither men nor women could decide on that. Unfortunate for the men.
