I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Oh – as long as there are enough shrubs and other plants around, lawns can be quite nice, just like English gardens, which are beautifully designed with flower beds, trees, lawns, and open sightlines. If I had more space, we would probably have a bit more lawn between the meadow as well 😉
What I always find unfortunate, or even problematic depending on the geographic location, is the enormous amount of water that has to be used every summer to keep a lawn green and prevent it from drying out. A meadow doesn’t need that and still looks good.
And in times when rainfall is decreasing and groundwater levels are dropping...
But it will still take several years for this to sink in for many people. Until then, enjoy it 😉 *finger wag rolled back in

The darker areas in one of the photos are the active tiles. The images are greatly zoomed in because the distance is actually quite far for a phone camera, which is why one photo shows odd stripes on the roof that are not visible in reality.

Is this the Elon Musk project or which supplier did you choose for these?
