We recently had quite a situation. Suddenly, there were bees everywhere—a whole swarm was looking for a new home. They have now settled on a tree.
This afternoon, a beekeeper will come by and try to capture them.

Hopefully, it will look nicer outside eventually, but for now we’re focusing on the house. Until then, unfortunately, this is what we have to look at:

Unfortunately, we have neither a dog nor a cat.
And we don’t walk through the meadow area, as that is a wildlife zone 😉 we walk around it and observe.
So far, no tick issues; our daughter had one last year, but that could have been from the forest as well.

Don’t plant too close together. I made that mistake. Even though my mother-in-law always said not to plant too densely. I planted fewer per square meter (per square yard) than recommended and still ended up with overcrowding in some areas by the second year.

Grass!! Soon I can start mowing … 😀
