We are a bit worried about these plants because of the discoloration on the leaves (one of the light spheres from the first picture is also visible):

This flower is suffering from cold. I can’t remember the name, but we also have two of them.

We need something that can tolerate low temperatures. Maybe we should switch to artificial flowers ... 🙄

It’s starting to look quite nice now.
Although I like to tease my mother-in-law because she could really let loose here, I have to admit it’s beautiful when everything is in bloom. :p

Early summer in Schleswig-Holstein. Incidence rate below 10.

Yesterday, I dug up the first third of the garden. Today, if the weather holds up a bit, I planned to rake everything and then sow the lawn. I could even have borrowed a roller from a neighbor.
Today: It’s pouring down heavily. No chance.

Well, at least I can share a small before-and-after of our mini flower bed in front of the house. It’s nice to see the plants sprouting. 🙂
The first picture is from May 9th, the other one is from yesterday.

Advantages of renovation: The entire property already has great plants without needing to redesign everything 😉
