I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

PS: what is this new nonsense about "your post must be at least 30 characters or 5 words"??? 😡

are you going to train the trellis, or is the professional gardener coming for regular maintenanceA

Do you train the trellis yourself, or does the landscaper come for regular maintenance? The gardener comes regularly (twice a year) when nearby, tightens the "net" and the branches, and expands the structure.
After all the tips here, we aerated the lawn... What can I say? 🙄 Umm... so far it looks very... scruffy 😳 But it's surprising how much dead material we removed. Soil conditioner (according to our landscaping gardener, an environmental improver and: more is better) has already been applied. I'm very curious to see what will come of this scruffy area, but I am hopeful 😀
The strawberry season is just around the corner:

The strawberries are absolutely amazing this year!
But my peonies still don’t like it:
It’s a late variety, but this late?
The regular roses are already starting to bloom:
My Willi is really thriving (David Austin, William Shakespeare)
And Julia is as beautiful as expected:
(Julia’s Rose) A tea rose with a very unusual coloration. It looks almost too pink in the picture; in reality, the color is more parchment-like. Gorgeous! I saw this rose and had to have it. Bought bare-rooted and it is already rewarding me with a bloom in the first year. EXEMPLARY! The peonies could definitely take a lesson from this!!! They moved with us but are just being difficult.
Our wildflower meadow in front of the house is also blooming diligently:

But quite different from last year:
Apparently, sunflowers don’t want to come this year—such a pity... But we do have daisies!
