I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

I check on them every day and would love to just sit on the driveway and watch them grow. 🙂 There are 13 English ivies "Goldchild," which unfortunately I couldn’t get in a taller variety. English ivy "Goldchild" is a bright, golden plant that also grows slowly, so I hope it will be easier to manage.
My goal is to create a sense of calm along the boundary. I may also plant some spring bulbs in the planting trench, but I need to see how well they will “get along” with the ivy first.
As some of you already know, I want to visually separate the garage from the house, so I will soon focus on which (tall) plants to put to the left of the driveway.
Off topic: I really wanted a gently curved driveway. Since we couldn’t find a professional for that, my husband made it himself, despite some protest ;-) — but now he likes it a lot more than a straight driveway.
