I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

The privacy screen is growing rapidly, and today I harvested a small but very tasty crop from my single strawberry plant.
My ex collected the porcini mushrooms and dried them here in the sun.

Our tomatoes are also producing abundant yields... they are ripening steadily even in the greenhouse. Tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers without end...

This was our zucchini and cucumber harvest from yesterday. We somehow have an endless amount of zucchinis. The tomatoes are doing well too. The bell peppers are hanging nicely and large, but they don’t want to change color. Our strawberries are slowly coming to an end.

I’m jumping in here with a few photos, even though it’s not about the garden, but at least it’s about plants. ;-) To the right of the sandstone-colored driveway (the curbstones will be painted to match the driveway, and the garage will also be painted in the color of the house), you can see the first plants I’ve placed along the boundary. I check on them every day and would love to just sit on the driveway and watch them grow. 🙂 There are 13 English ivies "Goldchild," which unfortunately I couldn’t get in a taller variety. English ivy "Goldchild" is a bright, golden plant that also grows slowly, so I hope it will be easier to manage.

My goal is to create a sense of calm along the boundary. I may also plant some spring bulbs in the planting trench, but I need to see how well they will “get along” with the ivy first.

As some of you already know, I want to visually separate the garage from the house, so I will soon focus on which (tall) plants to put to the left of the driveway.

Off topic: I really wanted a gently curved driveway. Since we couldn’t find a professional for that, my husband made it himself, despite some protest ;-) — but now he likes it a lot more than a straight driveway.

Oh, that fits here nicely too.
Haven't you planted a bit too much ivy? It will grow quite large over the years.
