ᐅ Garage door: what colors are available besides anthracite?

Hello everyone,
I wasn’t sure where to post my question, so apologies if this is not the right place.

We are currently completing our garage, which includes installing a garage door.
Regarding the door, we want to choose one from the company Hörmann. Why? Because we’ve had good experiences with them.

Our house is designed in a modern classic style with anthracite-colored windows and front door. The facade of both the house and the garage is white. Until now, we assumed the door would be white as well, but what about a different color? My wife wants to add some wooden elements in front of the house in the future, so we thought about choosing the door in the color “Golden Oak.”

My question is: Does anyone have reference pictures of their house with a garage door in a different color, or anthracite, that they could share here?

With that said, I’m looking for inspiration.

At the moment, I often see gray (anthracite) and white combined with color accents, such as burgundy or similar shades. Wood is also seen occasionally, but how does it hold up in terms of weather resistance?

Our Hörmann door is in RAL 9007, gray aluminum. It looks really great. However, we don’t have a window/facade combination in white/anthracite. So that makes it difficult. I imagine a door with a wood look would seem odd with the rest being white/gray.

The internet definitely shows some appealing examples combining gray/white/wood. In the end, it’s always a matter of personal taste anyway 🙂

... every third or fifth house that looks like this has some kind of wood cladding somewhere. Keep your eyes open while driving around, and you'll see plenty of examples of how it could look 😉
