I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Same here. My potatoes look dried out, the soil is completely dry, and at the same time I’m allowed to remove leaves. It looks like late blight.

I'm somewhat at odds with growing vegetables. A few kohlrabi in the raised bed, lettuce, and radishes. But I no longer grow tomatoes or potatoes. Always a lot of work, and then it just doesn't work out.
Oh well. I'll stick to flowers 😎

Garden Shed Project
Unfortunately, we didn’t quite finish before the rain started. The roof received several upgrades during the re-roofing, including proper flashing and effective rain diverters for the gutter. It’s amazing—especially the latter makes me as happy as a child 🙂
This shows how important good neighbors can be when they offer advice, help, and tools.

Small wooden house with red roof, ladder in front, green tarp as a cover in the garden.

I find it easier with vegetables. With flowers, it’s not as noticeable if they bloom less.

I would have preferred a green roof on the shed 🙂

I’m not good at growing vegetables either; we just settle for a lemon tree, chili peppers every summer, strawberries, blueberries, and an apple tree.

Actually, I have a green thumb outdoors. Things are going really well there. Inside the house, everything just dies. That’s why I don’t have anything that needs to survive frost indoors.
