I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Now I was curious too... the blog is really great @Holzhäuschen
I’m really looking forward to seeing photos once the building phase properly starts 🙂

On Thursday, the timber supplier delivered beams and fence parts. The sandbox is almost finished, and the balance beam is still somewhat temporary.

Most of the plants from autumn survived the winter well, except for one. That one started growing again fairly early and did not survive the last frost. Maybe it will still recover.
wow, this looks great, awesome, thanks for sharing.

Judging by the state of the soil around our 300 onions, it was more of a mole’s feast than a spring bulb meadow 🙂
I’ll wait and see.

Oh, that’s unfortunate... In contrast, we have a full bloom of spring flowers in our meadow.

Exactly 1 (in words: ONE) snowdrop and also 1 (in words: one tiny little) crocus 🙄 It’s almost unbearable how lavishly it’s flowering... :p

For a moment, I was jealous because here (unlike some neighbors) absolutely nothing has appeared. Either I did some wild animal feeding as well, or I’m too impatient, or (my theory) the things simply rotted away in our soaking wet soil. We’ll wait and see...

There are still some patches of snow left. Here, nothing is blooming yet except for the Christmas rose.

Onions usually don’t tolerate moisture well. Unfortunately, it’s quite possible that they have rotted :/
