I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Is there a tree that provides good privacy screening and is also low maintenance 🙂?Bauer123 schrieb:
.. loses few leaves and doesn’t have extensive roots, that’s exactly what I’m looking for tooPlease be more specific. Also, please distinguish between shrubs, bushes, and trees. Trees grow tall and may have a standard trunk. They do not provide effective privacy screening. If you want privacy screening on a terrace in summer, it is better for the light if the leaves fall in winter. Property boundaries are a different matter than terraces…I think I hijacked this topic.. 😉
Today, my tomato plants were finally able to move back to their summer residence... with good soil and fresh fish scraps. I started growing them on March 10. Next year, I will start the seedlings two weeks later—that’s definitely enough!
Here are a few more pictures of the garden. By the way, the garden is 4 years old! Everything was planted by myself. I brought many small plants from our previous garden and propagated them repeatedly by dividing. This is so easy and saves a lot of money. I temporarily fill gaps with annuals like marigolds, petunias, calendulas, and nasturtiums… just scatter the seeds… it works great. This year, I started the petunias and marigolds indoors, so they have a head start and are already starting to bloom.
