I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Reinhard84.210 Aug 2021 13:59Thanks! That’s practically a second house, just the terrace alone (in terms of effort 😉 ). I really like the look, metal and wood side by side, without that DIY store style. Are the metal beams custom-made, or can you buy them like that?
Yes, we have more concrete in the garden than in the entire house (which is a wooden house).
The metal parts were custom-made. Our landscaper had a metalworker available who fabricated everything to measure. The wooden beds and raised planters were also made on site.
You can get inspiration by searching for "garden metal" online (just look it up and you will find their website) and you can also order from there. If I remember correctly, they also do custom orders. However, we preferred to have a metalworker on site.
And of course, everything must be securely fastened. When the wind hits it, a solid structural design is definitely necessary.
