I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

As parents, you want to provide something for your child, but right now nothing is really possible...Of course, but if the news has already announced days in advance that access roads will be closed because emergency services and fire departments cannot get through, then you have to accept the consequences and simply not drive there. The children sitting strapped in child seats for half the day is unreasonable. It’s not about not being able to do anything. Social distancing is fine, and if you live in a snowy area, that’s great.
But if everyone within a 100-meter (62-mile) radius has the same idea, it just won’t work.
Indoor swimming pools are closed, indoor play centers are closed, and unfortunately many families live in small apartments (here it’s common that families are not prioritized, but a single person can rent a 3-4 room flat).
(As parents, from a certain age onward, you are not responsible for entertaining children 24/7. Children also need to learn to endure some boredom and occupy themselves. In childcare, it's noticeable that some children do not accept “no” and cannot wait their turn. Sometimes well-intentioned actions have the opposite effect.)
I can understand the parents to some extent. But driving for hours and then...
On the slopes, keeping distance is not a problem. Residents have to deal with the inconsiderate behavior, and during the pandemic times, it’s also not ideal that people from Frankfurt and Munich meet up at the bakery.
There are plenty of options without snow. Families living in small city apartments have a hard time. With a garden and forest right outside the door, and enough space in the house, it’s easier to keep every child entertained.

Sounds realistic to me. It always depends on the materials you use, the water content, and how many stones or gravel you mix in. Why do you want to use screed concrete? Mixing it yourself is quick and cost-effective.At the local building supplier, 30 kg (66 lbs) of screed concrete costs 3.58 including tax with a customer card that I have there. I’m not going to start mixing gravel and cement myself for that price. The product is suitable for landscaping as it is frost-resistant. Although the shop is currently closed due to COVID-19, you can call ahead and pick up the goods directly from their warehouse.
So, I’ll be ordering 13 bags tomorrow.
