I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

A well is simply brilliant. Unfortunately, we don’t have one, and at the moment, there’s no money to have one drilled.
Vegetables: Yesterday, we brought 23 (!) containers into the courtyard. Cucumbers, pumpkins, zucchini, beans, tomatoes, bush basil, parsley, eggplant, bell peppers, jalapeños. And we also have some in the raised bed, a very large container, and the greenhouse. Absolutely crazy. But my brother takes care of that... Personally, I wouldn’t want to manage it so extensively.
Oh, and I also have coriander, but I still need to repot it.
However, despite very regular watering last year, the lawn simply burned everywhere it was in full sun. Only the parts in partial shade survived. However, it has started growing back everywhere this year; so at least it wasn’t killed.

hampshire20 May 2019 21:26Rain is very welcome, as the forest floor is still bone dry below 80cm (31 inches), which is not good.
In the Bergisches Land and Sauerland regions, it is uncertain whether the Norway spruce, a native tree species, will survive. Drought causes the trees to produce little resin to defend themselves against the bark beetle. Additionally, the winter was too mild.
Although we don’t have any spruces ourselves, the area’s appearance will change.
