I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

How satisfied are you with the Houe wooden table?
How long have you had it, and what does the wood look like? Is it kept under a roof?
We definitely need new garden furniture now, and I personally prefer tables with wooden tops.
I am really interested in, for example,
Houe Circle and Sketch (both bamboo)
and also, for example, Niehoff Kubu (teak).
The table will be outside all year round under a covered area and won’t be exposed to rain, except maybe during storms.
My wife is quite skeptical about the durability of such a table...
She’s worried about roughness, cracking, and chipping.
I’m also happy to hear about experiences from other wooden table owners 😉 The table is not kept under a roof here and is treated once a year with Woca outdoor oil. It still looks good. I have not noticed any cracks or chipping so far. In the winter months, it’s stored in the garage. The chairs are also holding up great! So I still fully recommend it 🙂

You have to book our friend at least one year in advance, otherwise larger jobs won’t work out.
Good landscape gardeners are fully booked. It’s similar here. This year, we actually wanted to start on the garden shed for tables and chairs. The landscaper was supposed to help us with the foundation and also plant a bigger tree. But he didn’t have much time this year 🙄 Well... hoping that next year it will be easier to get the timber for the shed organized, we postponed the project again. Then my husband will finally have time to install wooden paneling in the living room. No excuses then :p
