I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Your wall is delicate compared to my jungle.
Weeds don’t just come from below; they also come from above.
Last year, the new section in front of the house was relatively weed-free. Dandelions were removed immediately and that was it.
This year, there is endless sorrel, St. John’s wort – no idea where it came from, so it stays, pansies, hazelnuts, and the occasional wannabe oak. Sorrel and hazelnuts are quite unaffected. Everything is newly arrived.

My wife has been busy again...
She started building a small rock garden with slate stones at the front entrance area. It’s not finished yet.

The lawn edge there is only temporary for now. It will be set into the ground later. In addition, quite a lot of phlox will be planted.
Then we removed the turf from the entire sloped area by the house and also planted phlox there. A lawn edge for the robot mower will be added at the bottom as well.

And the triangular flower bed by our terrace, which we planted last year, has really exploded in growth.
