Norma has some today

I treated myself to two 20-light strings with colorful balloons. Although my partner looked on skeptically, he has to deal with it. I also decorate construction sites.

Norma is not available here. I have to wait until Thursday. But then I'll go for it.

Yes, it is expected to rain starting Friday. According to BR5 this morning, it will only be enough to reduce the wildfire risk level from 4/5 to 2/3. Sounds like not much. We’ll have to wait and see.

I’m waiting for the garden loungers to become cheaper again. Nardi Omega. Last year, they were often priced around 170 euros, now they’re back up to 210 euros. That’s why I’m also hoping it will finally rain again and people lose their desire to buy.

I just bought a garden lounger at the Danish bed store Austria for 99€ each plus cushions. They are quite sturdy, and the adjustable backrest can be set completely flat—just like a sauna lounger. Really great, it was definitely worth it.

I also wanted solar lamps but decided against them because of light pollution concerns. At most, I’ll use 1 or 2 string lights—they don’t shine very far, and so far I haven’t seen any insects attracted to them.

Rain would be nice…

By the way, I just read that my very fragrant broom plant is highly toxic. Great, I think there should be a warning on the label. Warnings are given for every little thing like “Hot coffee can cause burns,” but with poisonous plants, you have to research yourself. Not even digitalis has a warning on it. I find that almost negligent.
